Samples selection

To access to SOLEIL and facilities, the following safety requirements must be respected.

In the SUN set, the main proposer should have:

- Declared the samples brought and the associated substances used,

- Selected the sample environment requested,

- Declared the ancillary equipment brought, if necessary,

- Described samples preparation method and precised the location of the preparation (support laboratory or beamline).

Once your proposal has been accepted, you have to select the samples and/or ancillary equipements you need to bring at SOLEIL for your experiment among the ones you have declared during proposal submission.

It is possible to "post-declare" a sample, it means declare a sample after the committees evaluation. The post-declared sample has to be assessed by SOLEIL security group and then validated by SOLEIL Scientific Direction. If the delay is to short for these steps the sample might be refused.

Only samples and/or equipements declared beforehand can be selected for your experiment.
