Since January 23rd of 2008, opening date of SOLEIL Guest House which is available 24 hours a day, users can be accommodated. The Guest House is located next to the Synchrotron building and the canteen. There are 81 comfortable single rooms with two of them devoted to people of reduced mobility.
Users supported by SOLEIL have priority to be accommodated in the Guest house.
The request has to be done in the SUN set, by the Main Proposer when he declares the participants (Applying for access).
Users not supported by SOLEIL may be accommodated in the Guest House according to availabilities.

A booking confirmation is sent to each participant by the guest house manager seven days before their arrival dates.
Apart from exceptional circumstances or CEO specific agreement, people under 16 years old cannot have access to SOLEIL site (including the Guest House), except for the reception building.
Since the 1st of January 2016, a financial contribution of 30 € / night (including VAT) is required to partially cover accommodation expenses.
It does not include breakfast.
This contribution is paid by the non-subsidized user, during the stay, on presentation of an invoice by the Guest House manager (from Monday to Friday 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00 / on Saturday and Sunday 10:00-12:00).
In case of No-Show, the 1st night will be due and the next nights cancelled (unless user contrary request).

For any questions, you can ask to the Guest House manager from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 12:30 and from 13:00 to 17:30, and on the Week-end from 9:00 to 13:00.
As far it is possible, the check in has to be done after 15:00 and the day of departure, you must checkout no later than 12:00 (p.m.) in order to allow the cleaning of the room.
If necessary, you can leave your luggage at the reception desk for few hours.
Outside opening hours and if the manager is not available, please contact the Reception at SOLEIL Guard room (Tel.: +33 (0)1 69 35 91 22).
The furniture is modern and functional.
The bathroom with shower is separated. Conditioning air is adjustable manually.
In each room, there are free phone and Internet access.
During your stay, the management at SOLEIL strongly recommends you to keep your valuables in the safety deposit box (size: 28x23x14cm) that is at your disposal in the room.
Users can park their car at the parking area close to the Guest House.
You can take your meals with the badge received at the entrance and which the Main Proposer has to request previously through the SUN set ("Apply for access" function).
The canteen is opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner as follows :

Your meals are covered by one of SOLEIL's financial support available for users.
When you received a non-subsidized badge this means that you have to take in charge by your own your meals.
ATTENTION: As of January 2020, loading your badge is not available anymore. For your meals expenses, you have to pay directly at the restaurant cash desk with cash or credit card.
At SOLEIL, users can find different types of funding depending on their institute contry and/or the research area of their project:
- European financing programs: CALIPSOplus, iNEXT Discovery, ...
Non European Community members have to check if visa formalities should be completed.
We recommend to you to make VISA requirements well in advance.
